Last December 11, 2019, the Direct Selling Association of the Philippines (DSAP) held its Christmas party with its members.
We got together at Sentro 1771, Uptown Mall BGC for a 3-Part Year-End Event filled with cheerfulness and songs where DSAP members enjoyed wearing their rock star leather outfits and conversing over a sumptuous meal prepared for us.
DSAP Chairman Mr. Joey Sarmiento warmly welcome all attendees, introduced the event itself and conveyed a short Christmas message for everyone.
The masters of the ceremonies were able to build a connection to the attendees during their introduction to the special guest speaker, Ms. Sha Nacino, a trusted global speaker, bestselling author and Jack Canfield Certified Trainer who was happy and grateful in sharing the Power of Gratitude.
Adding positive energy to the afternoon’s event, we had the pleasure of listening to the golden voice of Mr. Jose Y. Urquia, Edmark singing President, and rightly so, as we were all enchanted by his rendition of old classic songs, all audiences could attest to that!
New board of directors were elected. All candidates were given 2 minutes of opportunity to introduce themselves before the elections proper so DSAP members as voters on the other hand, were given chance to have a closer look at the candidates to know and evaluate them respectively. There were four (4) newly elected for the two-year-term namely: Atty. Errol Palaci of Avon Cosmetics, Inc., Boyet Fidelino of New Image International, Jiji Recto of Waters Philippines & Nice Villena of Neolife International; and Joey Urquia of Edmark Philippines for a one-year term.
Immediately after the election, member’s recognition followed to award the Perfect 10 Awards and Active Member Awards.
The party was becoming more enticing and exciting when four major prizes were given to the lucky winners of the grand raffle draw. There were 3 winners who received gift certificates for an overnight accommodation with breakfast to one of this hotels: Crowne Plaza, Belmont Hotel and Savoy Hotel; and the last one won a 3 days Ultimate Coron Package.
Then we proceeded to the White Elephant exchange gift giving as instructed by the two masters of the ceremonies, who prepared a little story to spice up, otherwise, typical exchange gift. All we needed were listening and comprehension skills.
Wishing everyone a Merry Christmas in the spirit of giving and be a living testimony of the virtue of gratitude. Those were the core messages that everyone went home with. It is something that we should all carry in our mind and hearts to always feel good and happy every day.
